#57 – Fight the Urge to Become a Crap Magnet

Negative energy is infectious.  Whatever you focus on expands both negative and positive.  What people get out of being a victim is attention.  What you get is injected with their negativity.   Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker

The people who can always find something to complain about remind me of Joe Btfsplk, a comic character in the  old Li’l Abner comic strip.  He was a jinx and always traveled with a dark cloud over his head.  Try not to join the Joe Btfsplk’s of the world under their cloud.  Instead, reach for the sun.  It’s much nicer there and you’ll be a lot healthier as a result.

#56 – If You’re Willing to Fail and Fall on Your Face, You Can Learn Anything. Darren LaCroix – World Champion Public Speaker

It’s good to remember that if you make a complete fool out of yourself when trying something new, there are still thousands and thousands of people who have never met you.   So go out there and give it your best shot.  And if it doesn’t work, try again with somebody else.

Knowing this tip has helped me overcome some of my own fears.  I hope it does the same for you.

#55 – To establish rapport with someone you don’t know, try listening, asking questions, being supportive and open-minded and interrupting as little as possible.

#54 – “I’ve spent a lot of time trying to be smart instead of trying to do good, admiring “smart” people instead of good people.” Ruth Ellis age 100
