#158 – “Have nothing in your house that is not useful or you believe to be beautiful.” William Morris, leader of the Craftsmen Movement.

If you want a golden rule for what to purchase and what not to purchase, this is it.  William Morris also said that the most important things in life are love and work and the true secret of happiness lies in taking a genuine interest in the details of daily life.  I think he has a point or three.

Spring is officially here.   Now if it would just warm up.

About sand1

When I was young, I made a lot of bad choices. The only way I knew to dig myself and my family out was to go to the library, always hoping that the next book I read would change my life. And often many of them did. Out of gratitude for the happy life I have now, I decided to share what I have learned, usually the hard way, and hope that it will help you too. I will try to keep my Tuesday Tips short as I realize everyone has limited time these days. Hope they help you as much as they continue to help me. Sand
