# 64 – Biggest Secret To Becoming Wealthy is to Stop Spending

Rich people do not spend their money needlessly, according to the 2007 annual survey of Affluence & Wealth in America.  They clip coupons, wait for sales, don’t buy on impulse and live below their means.  For the rich, it’s not about getting more stuff, it’s about having the freedom to quit a job they don’t like or sending their kids to private schools.

Warren Buffet, the third richest person in the world, according to Forbes, lives in the same home he bought four decades ago for $31,500.

About sand1

When I was young, I made a lot of bad choices. The only way I knew to dig myself and my family out was to go to the library, always hoping that the next book I read would change my life and thankfully, often many of them did. Out of gratitude for the happy life I have now, I decided to share what I have learned, and continue to learn. I hope that Tuesday Tips helps you as much as they have helped and continue to help me.
