#85 – Trusting is characteristic of winners. The Psychology of Competition by Stuart Walker

Those who are most unwilling to accept help and most inclined to suspect their opponent of some secret advantage are at the back of the race.”

I remember being 17, thinking I knew it all, refusing to listen to anybody and being suspicious of everyone.  Looking back, I can see what a huge mistake that was.   My life would have been so much easier had I taken some advice and assumed most folks mean well.

About sand1

When I was young, I made a lot of bad choices. The only way I knew to dig myself and my family out was to go to the library, always hoping that the next book I read would change my life and thankfully, often many of them did. Out of gratitude for the happy life I have now, I decided to share what I have learned, and continue to learn. I hope that Tuesday Tips helps you as much as they have helped and continue to help me.
