#157 – Need to exercise? Start small. “Exercise for Life,” from a free DVD from the Patient Education Center, Mayo Clinic

Don’t wait for motivation to begin.   That’s not how motivation works.  You need to do something small to motivate you to do something bigger. Walk ten minutes a day three times a week, climb the stairs instead of taking the elevator, park at the far end of the parking lot when you go to the store.   Nothing big but hopefully enough to get the wheels turning.

About sand1

When I was young, I made a lot of bad choices. The only way I knew to dig myself and my family out was to go to the library, always hoping that the next book I read would change my life and thankfully, often many of them did. Out of gratitude for the happy life I have now, I decided to share what I have learned, and continue to learn. I hope that Tuesday Tips helps you as much as they have helped and continue to help me.
