#189 – What can surprise you about getting old is your regrets. From: “Heart Etc.” by Joyce Goldenstein

There is no such thing as a life without regrets.  If you have knowingly harmed someone, ask for forgiveness (it will not kill you) and don’t forget to forgive yourself.  There is always a lesson even in pain and sadness. Look for the lesson to be learned and focus on it instead of what might have been.

About sand1

When I was young, I made a lot of bad choices. The only way I knew to dig myself and my family out was to go to the library, always hoping that the next book I read would change my life and thankfully, often many of them did. Out of gratitude for the happy life I have now, I decided to share what I have learned, and continue to learn. I hope that Tuesday Tips helps you as much as they have helped and continue to help me. “..don’t forget to forgive yourself.” Yes, yes! This is so important.

Forgiveness is the key to happiness or so says the Course of Miracles, which Peter and I studied in a group a long time ago.
