#193 – “To make a good first impression, demonstrate immediately that the other person, not you is the center of action and conversation.” How To Make A Strong First Impression: Seven Tips That Really Work by Bill Lampton, Ph.D.

The other six tips are:  Listen carefully, give positive verbal cues to let the person know you are listening,  maintain steady eye contact, stay away from humor that could backfire, give up the need to be right and take care with your appearance.

Voting today.   How wonderful that we have a choice.

About sand1

When I was young, I made a lot of bad choices. The only way I knew to dig myself and my family out was to go to the library, always hoping that the next book I read would change my life and thankfully, often many of them did. Out of gratitude for the happy life I have now, I decided to share what I have learned, and continue to learn. I hope that Tuesday Tips helps you as much as they have helped and continue to help me.
