#217 – Make an ideal relationship list for a friend as well as for a marriage partner. Time to Break Free by Judith R. Smith

When I’m deciding whether I want someone to be my friend, I think of the things that are most important to me. A few things I look for — common interests, honesty, respects my boundaries, keeps their word, listens and doesn’t hog every conversation,  is generally positive, and is not a drama king or queen. I also try to remember that friendship is a two way street, nobody’s perfect, especially me, and that like  most things, most folks are simply doing the best they can.

About sand1

When I was young, I made a lot of bad choices. The only way I knew to dig myself and my family out was to go to the library, always hoping that the next book I read would change my life and thankfully, often many of them did. Out of gratitude for the happy life I have now, I decided to share what I have learned, and continue to learn. I hope that Tuesday Tips helps you as much as they have helped and continue to help me.
