#269 – Bottom line is, if you do not use it or need it, it needs to go. From: Charisse Ward

It’s difficult to think clearly in a cluttered environment. To begin cleaning out the clutter, treat yourself like Pavlov’s dog – work for 15 minutes and give yourself a reward.   Most organizers recommend making three piles – one to keep, one to sell and one to give away. It helps me to think of decluttering as one drawer, one room, one shelf rather than the overwhelming task of organizing the whole house at once.

About sand1

When I was young, I made a lot of bad choices. The only way I knew to dig myself and my family out was to go to the library, always hoping that the next book I read would change my life and thankfully, often many of them did. Out of gratitude for the happy life I have now, I decided to share what I have learned, and continue to learn. I hope that Tuesday Tips helps you as much as they have helped and continue to help me.
